Our home has been designed to promote orientation of living areas towards sunshine. The design is based on a maximum of 36 residents per wing, with our secure dementia wing further divided into two wings of 18 residents each. Our home meets all safety and fire requirements, with sprinklers and smoke detectors together with CCTV for security and access control for the safety of our residents.
We have single bedrooms of varying sizes, all with ensuite bathrooms. We provide king single electric hi-low beds, specialised pressure care mattresses, nurse call, individually-controlled air conditioning/heating and smart TV’s.
A selection of interconnecting single bedrooms cater for couples, subject to availability. A large number of bedrooms have sliding door access to outdoor balconies, patio’s and secure courtyards or walking paths.
Meals are prepared fresh on-site from a dietician-approved seasonal menu that caters for resident preferences and allergies including texture modified diets and cultural requirements where possible. Whilst we encourage residents to socialise and experience the meal service in the dining rooms with friends and family, room-service can also be arranged to resident’s individual rooms where preferred or for health-related circumstances.
Throughout our home you will find spacious lounge areas, libraries, craft rooms, games areas and multi-purpose areas such as chapel, movie theatre, music/piano area, billiard table and café which have been designed to promote socialisation with friends and family.
Our dedicated lifestyle team have developed a lifestyle program to engage residents according to their differing needs and preferences. For example, the smart TVs located in each resident’s room allows them to engage with meditative and peaceful sun downing content (and other dementia-specific content), virtual travel, relaxation therapies, arm-chair exercises and much more.
Our resident living areas are complemented by our extensive garden areas complete with gazebos and playground which can be enjoyed in the warmer weather. Many resident bedrooms have sliding door access to outdoor areas, which can be securely locked if preferred. In the cooler weather our gardens with plentiful flowers can be viewed from inside through our large window areas in lounge rooms, resident rooms and walkways.
Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) range from $300k - $550k.

With the exception of Accommodation Fees/Deposits (which are negotiated with Signature Care directly), all other fees and charges are mandated by the Australian Government (i.e. Department of Health, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc).

Accommodation Pricing Options
Single Classic Room Silver
A delightful single room (17-18m2 + ensuite & patio/balcony) with the following features:
|Option 1||Option 2||Option 3||Option 4|
Refundable Accommodation Deposit (“RAD”)
A RAD is a one-off lump sum payment to Signature Care. The full RAD amount is refunded upon departure of the home, less any amounts you have agreed to be deducted (if applicable) and is 100% guaranteed by the Australian Government.
Daily Accommodation Payment (“DAP”)
A DAP is a daily payment of interest on the room price which is billed monthly (i.e. a rental-type payment).
Unlike the RAD, the DAP is not refundable upon departure of the home.
The DAP amount is based on the Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR), which is set by the Department of Health, and the agreed price of the room you select.
As at 1 April 2020, the MPIR is 4.89%.
To calculate the equivalent DAP, multiply the RAD by the MPIR and divide by 365 for the daily rate.
Combination of RAD and DAP
The accommodation cost is paid by a combination of RAD and DAP where you choose a partial RAD amount and this will then adjust the amount you pay via the daily charge.
For a combination RAD/DAP payment, multiply the remainder of the RAD by the MPIR and divide by 365.
For example, the DAP on 50% of a $400,000 RAD is determined by: [(50% x $400,000) x MPIR]/365 = ($200,000 x 4.89%)/365 = $26.79 per day.
