Why Work With Us?

Signature Care values its people and holds them in the highest regard because we recognise that our employees are the source of our reputation, capability and strength.

As a not-for-profit company, we take pride in engaging loyal people with professionalism, integrity, honesty and respect to build positive and meaningful relationships with our residents and their families during what is usually a very challenging and daunting time for families.

We invest in our people, whether this be through our extensive orientation programs, ongoing in-house and external training opportunities and continued investment in IT systems, software and state-of-the-art equipment. We recognise that whilst we provide residents with a home, we also provide our staff with a workplace and both need to be safe and foster a sense of belonging, acceptance and inclusiveness.

Signature Care is passionate about recognising talent and those staff who diligently and thoughtfully go above and beyond for our residents and their families every day. We have a history of encouraging leaders by providing opportunities for promotion within the company. We view the achievements of our people as a cornerstone of our success.

Please rest assured that we have invested and continue to reinvest in our family-run business, meaning that we have strong financial resources. Over the last 30 years, there has been extensive investment into the Aged Care sector and we have a strong commitment going forward to deliver quality aged care homes for our residents.

Signature Care has invested in robust HR and payroll software (including time in attendance), to ensure that our people are paid correctly and on time.

Signature Care’s business is Aged Care and is 100% committed to delivering for the sector, our residents and our employees. We pride ourselves on this reputation.

Signature care is an approved business sponsor for Registered Nurses across Australia and therefore RNs requiring sponsorship are welcome to apply with the following visa options:

  • Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482)
  • Training visa (subclass 407)

Volunteering at Signature Care

Signature Care understands the significant value of volunteers and the great benefit they bring to our residents. We welcome the application of any person (regardless of age, background or gender) to compliment the wonderful care and attention we offer.

Why Volunteer?

Working in Aged Care can be an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. While many residents might otherwise miss out on contact from people within the local community, volunteers provide this important link and offer both companionship and casual, friendly communication. Volunteers get to share in first-hand personal stories and experiences from our resident’s past while adding a new brightness to their present.

Who Should Volunteer?

Anyone. You don’t need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join in activities and an interest in having a chat.

What Would I Be Doing?

The most fundamental role of a volunteer is to provide companionship, so a priority is placed upon listening and talking to our residents. As well as this, there is host of other activities you could be involved in such as arts, gardening, joining the residents for a bus outing, reading, games etc.

What are People Saying?

Here's a testimonial from one of our homes:

"Just wished to touch base and let you know how blessed I am feeling.
My first volunteer morning with Margie, Chrissy and your lovely residents warmed my soul.
It was a pure pleasure spending time with gorgeous people and helping where I could.
I very much look forward to being part of such a lovely team."
