Signature Care values its people and holds them in the highest regard because we recognise that our employees are the source of our reputation, capability and strength.
As a family-run company, we take pride in engaging loyal people with professionalism, integrity, honesty and respect to build positive and meaningful relationships with our residents and their families during what is usually a very challenging and daunting time for families.
We invest in our people, whether this be through our extensive orientation programs, ongoing in-house and external training opportunities and continued investment in IT systems, software and state-of-the-art equipment. We recognise that whilst we provide residents with a home, we also provide our staff with a workplace and both need to be safe and foster a sense of belonging, acceptance and inclusiveness.
Signature Care is passionate about recognising talent and those staff whom diligently and thoughtfully go above and beyond for our residents and their families every day. We have a history of encouraging leaders by providing opportunities for promotion within the company. We view the achievements of our people as a cornerstone of our success.
In addition, Signature Care’s HRIS system, Flare, offers our staff access to an exclusive benefits and discount platform of leading retailers like Woolworths, JB Hi-FI and Amazon. For more information you can visit the official website of flarehr.
Signature Care understands the significant value of volunteers and the great benefit they bring to our residents. We welcome the application of any person (regardless of age, background or gender) to compliment the wonderful care and attention we offer.
Working in Aged Care can be an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. While many residents might otherwise miss out on contact from people within the local community, volunteers provide this important link and offer both companionship and casual, friendly communication. Volunteers get to share in first-hand personal stories and experiences from our resident’s past while adding a new brightness to their present.
Anyone. You don’t need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join in activities and an interest in having a chat.
The most fundamental role of a volunteer is to provide companionship, so a priority is placed upon listening and talking to our residents. As well as this, there is host of other activities you could be involved in such as arts, gardening, joining the residents for a bus outing, reading, games etc.
Simply make an enquiry using this form and we will be in touch with you to set up an interview. During the interview process we will explore your suitability and advise on the orientation process and completion of relevant documentation.
A Police Check is mandatory. Following the conclusion of the legislative requirements, you will be introduced to our Lifestyle team for induction.
