Our Croft Developments team is working hard to create a beautiful home that is perfectly suited to our residents. From the initial design to the finishing touches, a person-centred approach ensures that every resident feels comfortable in their new home.
All of our rooms are single bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, with some variance in size. We provide every room with a king single, electric hi-low bed with hand and foot controller and specialised pressure care mattress; nurse call; individually-controlled air conditioning/heating; and wall-mounted smart TVs.
Meals are prepared fresh on-site from a dietician-approved seasonal menu that caters for resident preferences and allergies including texture modified diets and cultural requirements where possible. Whilst we encourage residents to socialise and experience the meal service in the dining rooms with friends and family, room-service can also be arranged to resident’s individual rooms where preferred or for health-related circumstances.
Throughout our home you will find spacious lounge areas, libraries, craft rooms, games areas and multi-purpose areas such as movie theatre, music/piano area, billiard table and café which have been designed to promote socialisation with friends and family.
Our Leisure and Lifestyle team seek to gain an insight into our residents’ connection to lifestyle choices and ensure that their social history, interests, cultural and religious needs, skills, capacity and safety are reflected in their care plans.
Relatives and their families are encouraged to attend activities as part of our Leisure and Lifestyle Program to support transitions and maintain positive connections in the residents’ lives. Our monthly Leisure and Lifestyle program focuses on group activities which promote connection, integration and socialising between residents, families and staff, whilst balancing risk management strategies.
We have a range of Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) available.
Please note, residents with minimal assets and income (as assessed by the Government to receive full or partial support) will not be subject to RAD/DAP costs. Fully Supported residents will pay only a Basic Daily Fee (which is calculated at 85% of the basic single Age Pension) whereas Partially Supported residents will be required to pay an additional Contribution as determined by the Government
With the exception of Accommodation Fees/Deposits (which are negotiated with Signature Care directly), all other fees and charges are mandated by the Australian Government (i.e. Department of Health, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc).
Accomodation can be paid all at once using a refundable deposit (RAD) which is 100% guaranteed by the Australian Government.
Rather than a lump sum, accommodation can be paid for by a daily payment (DAP) which is billed monthly.
Alternatively, a percentage of the RAD can be paid which will lower the DAP cost.
and have to deposit towards the $0 RAD.
